Fashion Workshops

Get a group of friends together to visit my studio for an afternoon. Min of 4 people Maximum of 6 £25 per person.

Workshops start at 2.30 and finish at 4.30. Tea and Cake included.

Your afternoon will include a 45-minute screen PowerPoint presentation on fashion in the 60s and 70s, followed by a question and answer, then a tea and cake break.

The afternoon finishes with demonstrations in design and illustration.

Workshops and Talks make popular birthday, special occasions venue for groups of friends Prosecco or wine available on request at a small added cost .

Gift vouchers will also be available.

Talks on fashion in the 60's and 70's

Linda Warren design delivers fabulous talks on the fashion Industry.

An industry she worked in from the mid-'60s to 2012.

Linda has travelled globally for the British Export Council as a freelance senior designer and loves sharing her experiences with a broad audience.

Linda Warren's talks relate to her professional life in the fashion industry. They include original drawings, photos, PR and brochures relating to her work.

The talks take approximately 45 minutes, including a PowerPoint presentation and some original period garments. Then the floor is open to questions and answers, which is lively and informative.

There is a choice of talks, all with PowerPoint presentations:

1. The swinging 60's

2. Linda Warren, designer of the London Underground uniform

1980's

3. Working in Japan in 1996

4. 2000-2012 includes revamping the image of Ester Ranzen the year she danced with Anton in Strictly

How it works:

I bring my laptop and power point presentations and my own projector and with the 60's presentation some original clothes of that period.

All I need is a blank wall or screen and a table for my equipment.

Fees:

£100 plus travel expenses over 5 miles.

London Fees:

£200 plus travel expenses.
